The Tibetan Youth Media Program is one of many programs planned by the Tibetan Youth Empowerment Project (TYEP) which aims to assistant young Tibetans to reach their fullest potential, and is organized by the Hong Kong Stand with Tibet.
ABOUT THE TIBETAN YOUTH MEDIA PROGRAM:
The Tibetan Youth Media Program is raised by Hong Kong Stand with Tibet; works with the Tibetan Children's Village (TCV) and Tibetan Media Organizations in Dharamsala to encourage the exchange of Art and Media information, skills and ideas between Hong Kong youth and Tibetans youth.
The mission is to teach Art alive, Media Reporting and Film-making as a means of engaging Tibetan youth in their education -- developing artistic ability, critical thinking, and career skills while examining issues in their own environments.

Time Frame:
August 2012 – 2014
Program Arrangement:
1. Program Opening: The opening will be held by Hong Kong Stand with Tibet and Tibetan Children's Village in Dhramsala in 19th November 2012; we will donate the funds and Media equipment to TCV Media group and for the Tibetan Youth Media Program on Jan-Feb 2013 and future extension develop usage.
2. Training Program: Hong Kong Stand with Tibet will invite Hong Kong volunteers to come in and share knowledge with Tibetan youth the first Tibetan Media Training Program in Dharamsala on 14th Jan – 26th Feb 2013.
3. Exchange Program: There will be Hong Kong Artists and Local Media Organization Exchange and Sharing Skills between Hong Kong and Dharamsala late in 2013 and 2014. And we will select HK teachers and students to join our cause.
4. Photo Exhibition , Film Festival and Tibet Issue sharing will be hold in Hong Kong on 2013 and 2014 after the Tibetan Youth Media Program (TYMP)
Tibetan Youth Media Program will be seperate into 4 different sections, Students can either select one or more than one sections. Quota allowance in each section will be in 30 students. So we are welcome maximum 120students in total.

1. Movie Criticism (Movie / Docmentary) 8 lessons 24hours “Open to public”

-Gandi
Documentary:
-Sky Dancer
-The lost world of Tibet
-Leaving fear behind
-Crying for the freedom of Tibet
-Sky Burial
2.Improvisation Performance / Painting 20 lessons 60hours
Date:14-25/Jan
Age Range: up to 15

( Drama / Bread Puppet / Mime / Face & Body Drawing / Wall Painting )
Painting
( Drawing in Canvas / Create your own bag / Create your own dairy / Collage of Painting /
Artist Introduction / Art History & Theory / My Portrait )
3.Video ( Writing / Music / Media-Interview & Report / Short Film / Movie editing
